Hi, I have used this great program for some years now with the same phone.
By now many of my contacts have changed their phone numbers. If I replace these numbers with the new numbers, the SMSs in the archive will not have a name in the "from / to" column.
Is it possible to crate a new user with the same phone so I would have two users one "old" the other one "new"?

No, its not possible to create two users for the same device. But you could use your current user as backup (offline), just rename the IMEI part of your profile data folder. Then MyPhoneExplorer will create a new profile for your phone, you can reach the old one through Menu-File-Users
