Outlook Contact Addresses Have Been Altered

After syncing Outlook 2010 with MyPhoneExporer my addresses in Contacts both on my phone and in Outlook appear differently than before the sync. The street address, city, state and zip code are all on different lines now instead of the normal way a U.S. address would display (street address on line 1, then city, state and zip on line 2). Did I miss a setting or how did this happen? Do I have to go into each contact and fix this in Outlook? Will it just happen again?
Thanks,
Russ

You're ahead of me if you are able to grt MPE to reliably connect to your phone. If I can ge that worked out I'll be able to tell you if it happens to me too. Meanwhile, let me ask what Outlook contacts View you have the problem in. Actually, it would be interesting to know whether it looks messed up in the Data File view as well as Business Card and Address card views.
BTW, what phone are you using?

Just now I had no trouble connecting via WiFi. Hope it continues!
I did sync with Outlook, forcing phone to Outlook. Looks OK to me. But then there were only one or two new items on the phone. I didn't have the nerve to do a real test, i.e., deleting everything in Outlook first!

wifi is what I use all the time, much more convenient!
As for deleting things in Outlook first ... no need for that. Just create a sub-folder under 'Contacts' and copy all your existing contacts to that. Then, by default, the main Contacts follder will get populated when you sync. But if you check 'Settings -> Sync -> [Contacts/Calendar] -> Advanced' (MPE) you'll see it lets you choose which Outlook conact folder(s) to sync.
HTH.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3. The address segments show on seperate lines in any view in Outlook. When you open it, in Business Card View, etc.

Yes, now that it's working it's great. Yet, I do wonder why I can't get USB working.

I'm not seeing that. Maybe it's an S3 issue?

MyPhoneExplorer does not care about the format - he does sync street to street, zip to zip, ity to city. But i heard several times that Samsung KIES does sync the whole address into the Street-Field, maybe the data on the phone were corrupted cause a previous sync and MyPhoneExplorer did sync the corrupt address format then to Outlook.
