Hello.

When restoring SMS message from either backup or the archive to the phone, the original date/time of the messages is lost and is reset to the time of the restore. In the MyPhoneExplorer window the date still shows up correctly, the problem ends up being on the phone.

I am running this on an HTC Dream with CyanogenMod 6.1.0-DS.

Any chance there will be a fix for this?

Sorry, I should have read prior messages before posting. It's only the "sent" SMS dates that are lost, received messages are OK. It's unfortunate that the phone will not allow the sent date to be archived. This makes it pretty much impossible to meaningfully backup and restore the SMS database. The conversations end up wrong -- all the outgoing messages are at the top. From what I understand, it is an unsolvable phone-side glitch, not a MyPhoneExplorer problem.

Anyway, thanks for the great software -- it's been a lifesaver for me.

Interesting, seems to be an issue related to CyagenMod. When you download the messages again from phone - is the sent date also missing in MyPhoneExplorer now ?
