I have just downloaded version 1.8.4. In the middle my AVG Internet Security detected Adware being loaded. I quarantined this and the download continued, apparantly successfully.
What is the adware all about ?!!

It's the Turbo Toolbar included in the new installer. I have to deal with clients with computers infected by this kind of crapware every day (and believe me, they're not "just" toolbars given the serious issues they can cause), so although I understand the need to generate some revenue, I'm seriously disappointed in this.
At least you can uncheck it so it won't be installed, unlike on some other software I've seen recently. However the way it's presented a lot of people who aren't savvy won't understand to uncheck it (I have to talk people through this sort of thing on a regular basis).
