Initially I had used Kies to sync my contacts/cal/task/notes thus my phone and Outlook contained the same data. Now that I've aborted Kies and switched to MPE and synced on the phone I have double entries for everything in my Cal (contacts are OK, if interested see my post regarding this) I don't know about my task/notes which I don't normally use.
In Outlook I only have one entry as it should be. How do I easily remove the dupes on my phone? |

check your calendar to see if your phone does not show entries from several sources. |

Good suggestion but I'm 100%, well maybe 99%, sure it is. Before I ran the MPE sync there was only one cal entry on the phone, after running MPE sync I had two of everything.
I just attempted another sync and picked the option to force Outlook to the Phone, I still have two entries on my phone of everything. To my thinking this option would wipe the phone of the cal contents and replace it with Outlook.
I double checked my Outlook cal and it is correct.
Currently I'm only syncing the phone to Outlook, I don't have any other sources to sync to. Once I get MPE working I will pull Gmail into the picture. What I'm expecting is to have a three-way sync where all will be in-sync with each other and I can make an update in either location and it will be reflected in the others. |

Possibly I'm wrong..... Oh gosh!!!
If I look at either the Outlook cal or MPE cal I only see one entry. If I look at my phone I see two entries. I though I had Gmail turned off but now I'm not sure and to my knowledge Gmail is the only other source I could be syncing to.
Is there anyway to determine what the source of the second entry is coming from? When I view my contacts (Outlook, Phone, MPE) I only see one entry.
Is there a way I can wipe all Cal entries from my phone and then just resync with Outlook? |

More questions
If use MPE to sync the cal and pick the option to sync both (Outlook and Phone) why don't I see double entries in Outlook after the sync if the phone has double entries? If this happened I could then use NoMoreDupes in Outlook and easily remove the dupes.
Help! |

Firstly I would delete ALL contacts on the phone. Then in the MPE client on your PC:
File/Settings/Sync - (Contacts)Advanced/'Force Outlook to Phone'
Similarly for the calendar. Also, have the 'Show confirmation window ..... etc' box ticked so that nothing gets changed unless you OK it.

I don't have an issue with the contacts it is just the Cal that has dupe entries on the phone.
Is there an easy way to delete all of the Cal entries on my phone? I have literally 100's of cal entries. I have run MPE sync and picked the option to Force Outlook to Phone - I still have duplicate entries. |

OK I discovered how to clear all events in the Cal, see http://www.synccell.com/support/kb/questions.php?questionid=51
I performed the procedure, forced the sync from the Outlook to Phone, now I have only one entry on my Phone.
I then created a test entry in Outlook, synced via MPE, it was then on my phone.
I then deleted the entry on the phone, synced via MPE, now the entry is NOT in Outlook or on the Phone.
YEA success. |
