I have a new LG Spectrum phone and installed the newest version of MyPhoneExplorer and the phone and also on my Windows laptop. I am trying to connect via a USB cable to sync the contacts. I have the "charge only" selected, "bugging enabled", and have downloaded and installed what I think are the ADB drivers from a place called lg-phones.org. But the phone and the PC still will not connect. Can anyone give me any help please?

Post the logfile after the error message appeared

I'm sorry for not replying sooner.

I'm new to this program and cannot find any kind of logfile. Can you tell me where to find it?

The only message I get is "Connection to phone could not be established: No device attached to USB."

Please note: I am getting this message while my phone IS connected to the computer via USB. I don't know what else to do.

@both: The message "No device attached to USB" can have only three reasons:
1. there is really no device attached
2. USB-Debugging is not enabled on the phone
3. the ADB-Drivers were not installed or they are not working (Check the windows devicemanager for this)

Mine was resolved by enabling usa debugging. Don't know why it would suddenly not be disabled

You might want to try one of the older version like 1.8.0 or 1.8.1. I've been using 1.8.1 with no problems but when I upgraded to 1.8.4 suddenly my phone is not seen and doesn't connect. I have all the adb drivers installed so that's not it. I was able to get it to connect once on 1.8.4 but once I disconnected it I got the error message. I've an HTC Amaze running fastrom 7.7.
