Avast malicious website warning on v1.8.3 install

Hi

I have just installed version 1.8.3 (I did have the previous version).

During the install my Avast antivirus blocked access to a website.

The process that tried to access the website was:

InstallManager.exe

And the websites it tried to access were:

http://www.fcvikfastdlnorth.us/first_call_v17.php
http://www.fcvikfastdlnorth.us/second_call_v17.php

Should the install be trying to access these websites? Are they legitimate and what do they actually do?

Will everything still work OK given that the sites were blocked?

Thanks

I use AVG and have also had problems. It said that it had detected "known malware".

I am very sorry, it was an issue with the promotion screen. Fixed

thanks FJ for your prompt reply to our concerns.

I've now donated as your software is brilliant and it's been working fine now for over a month and I'm very happy with it.

@njwfjuser: Many thanks for your donation.

@all: The issue was only with the promotion screen, not with MyPhoneExplorer itself. So if you did already install MPE then its just OK. The AV-Scanner will not delete any part of MyPhoneExplorer
