Hi,

I'm using MPE with a Samsung Galaxy S3 using Wifi connecetion. Initial connection is fine and stable. However, if I leave my phone for around 10', connection drops

When I click the sync button, it says that the software fails to obtain the IP address of the phone.

What should I do to solve this problem?

Hi,

I have just checked the beta version, it seems that the problem has been solved. However, there is a problem with the screen. The screen sometimes turns on and could not turn off automatically. This consumes a lot of battery

I, too, downloaded and installed your beta app on my SGSIII, but MPE still crashes when attempting to connect via Wi-Fi or USB.

Do you have another fix? Thank you.

Hi FJ,

It seems that there is a bug in the beta. When I receive a new text, the phone screen turn on (quite normal), however, it cannot turn off automatically. I have to turn off the screen manually to preserve the battery life.

Connection Problems on SGS3

I read all the posts and I am having the same problem. I got my SGS3 a couple of days ago (Verizon). Yesterday I was able to sync perfectly over Wifi and USB. Today, I made changes to my calendar and every time I try to sync, it starts the connection and crashes the whole program. I uninstalled and reinstalled beta version 1.0.19 beta11 and the same thing happens. Cannot sync over Wifi or USB. Any new tips or fixes?

UPDATE (July 12, 2012): Last night I realized the only thing different about my phone from the day before is that my area was finally turned on for 4G access (don't laugh). Would going from 3G to 4G affect the app?

UPDATE (July 12, 2012 - later): More info. I had to deactivate my SGS3 from Verizon service for a few hours. I connected to MPE over Wifi just fine and was able to sync just fine. But AFTER I reactivated my phone for service with Verizon, it started crashing the program again. Is it the 4G?

I guess that 4G is the problem. I'm using S3 in the UK, with only 3G, and there is no crash

Hi FJ,

I have tried so many solutions but could not fix this problem. I used to use MPE with my Samsung Galaxy S2, but there is no problem whatsoever. I don't know what happen with the S3.
