delete protected files?

Is there a way to delete protected files from the phone? I don't need most of the cute pictures and sound files. Some are rather large. I want to delete so the space can be made available. Probably is no way to delete, but would be a good feature. Research would have to be done on how to set permissions or override permissions. Did you obtain communication specifications for the phone through trial and error, or did you actually come by a document? Good work, whatever the case.

Sorry - there is no way to delete those files. Maybe you can overwrite the files with other ones (this worked on the K700-series)

Install Java application on your phone called MobyExplorer. If I remeber correctly from forum.club-se.pl, it can delete those files.
http://www.bermin.net/support.html - here You can check the support of your phone and download the application.

Not connected with MPE, but solves the problem.

Another neat application. I installed this and was able to delete all the extra files.

After installing I thought I'd see what other apps I might find for the phone and found Mini Opera at operamini.com. It's a neat little browser that displays content differently than the default browser, rendering in a way better suited to the tiny screen.
