Unable to force contacts from Outlook to phone

Hi,

I discovered this morning that all my contacts have vanished from my Phone (HTC Desire, Jelly Bean 4.2.2).
I have been using MyPhoneExplorer for 6 months or so and everything was OK, until this morning (2 PC's, 1 phone, sync Contacts and Calendar).

In the Windows application all contacts have the yellow star. That is correct because the phone is missing all contacts.

Synchronizing (forced or not) stops half way, no error message, and no entries in the phone. (Although the little windows speaks of 'creating ... in phone')

I tried different ways to force the contacts back into the phone, but no luck.

One PC = Windows 10, the other Windows 7.
Calendar synchronization OK!

What am I doing wrong?

PS: My PhoneExplorer Windows calls contacts 'google', but it is in fact Outlook 2010 Contacts. Can I change that? When I started with MPE I used Google to sync.

hmm.. it looks that my Contacts app is malfunctioning.
Something like this https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/JPs5Pf8Tkho (Although I have 4.2.2 JB).
Stopped it, deleted the content, restarted the phone. Could do a forced sync from Outlook to Phone. Smile

But somehow Google is in between (synchronizing).
