What is the Sidebar widget?
What shell extension? Does MPE handle files?

Not widget. Its called sidebar gadget. Its a mini app which stays on desktop to handle calls and sms, similar to other sidebar gadgets which you can use in windows. The shell extension did handle files for upload but since this does not work on x64 PCs i think this is obsolete.
