The incoming text message time is 4 hour behind the actual time. How do I correct the problem?

Hmm, do you have the diffrence also on other topics (calendar, call lists) ? Are the timezones of PC and phone equal ?

No other issues with anything. The timezones for the PC and phone are the same.

I have a RAZR MAXX (XT912) and am seeing exactly the same problem.

On my phone received messages show the correct time of receipt, in MyPhoneExplorer the time is 4 hours too soon.

For example, I received a message at 9:58am EDT (GMT-4) and the time displayed by MyPhoneExplorer is 5:58am. Sent messages are all correct on both the phone and MyPhoneExplorer.

It may be complete coincedence, but it looks like something to do with time zone.

BTW: MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.2

I have a Droid 3 and am having the same problem, only the time is off by 6 hours for me.

Additional information which may make debugging easier:

Bring up chat window (right click on message, select "Begin Chat") - all messages, sent AND received (in real time) have correct times.

Close chat window and re-open chat window - previous received messages no have the incorrect time.

And this just in:

Using Android 4.04 (I'm in the soak test - shhhh!) this entire problem goes away.

Perhaps this is a driver issue. When I first connected to my PC post-patch, the driver updated.

Very good. I think it must be an issue with the firmware of your phone since it does work after the upgrade

Thanks for the reply mr-jolly! I tried the chat window thing and it didn't work for me. :( Guess I'll have to just live with it until I get the Android update...
