When MyPhoneExplorer 1.82 syncs my smartphone with MSOutlook (contacts/Agenda) than my PST file gets corrupted (report by SCNPST.EXE)

The above happens when I sync with an existing PST file as well as with fresh created pst file.

Configuration
Phone
- Samsung Galaxy S2
- Android 2.3.6
Desktop
- Win7 x64
- MSOutlook 2010 32-bits
- MyPhoneExplorer 1.82

Any ideas :?:

I never heard about this problem. MyPhoneExplorer does use Outlook itself to edit the data, he has no direct access to the PST-Files. It must be a problem with Outlook. Since you are the first user with this problem. Would it be possible that a special contact/appointmet will raise the problem ? What happens if you sync only contacts or only the calendar ?

Could you be more specific on how .pst files are corrupted, what leads you to this conclusion?

I will generate a log file.
STEPS
1) Check and repair the .pst file using scnpst.exe
2) I run MyPhoneExplorer
3) Re-run scnpst.exe
4) print scnpst.log file

I have 'Groups' in my Contact List. Could that be a cause for MPE to fail?

We have .pst corruption too

We just installed MPE and now email will not download. We have gotten a message a couple times that says the .pst file is corrupted.

Samsung Galaxy Precedent
Android 2.3
Win XP
Outlook 2007 32-bit
MPE 1.82

Attempting to move an email message form inbox to a folder gives a message saying that errors have been detected in the .pst.

Hi gemini444,

in your outlook application folder should be a program called "scanpst".
Running this program should repair your PST file.

best regards...

The logfile of scanpst does not show what the problem caused. MyPhoneExplorer does make the changes throught Outlook.exe, i think Outlook should be able to handle its own files correctly.

Sync only contacts -> will this cause a corrupt pst-File ?
Sync only calendar -> will this cause a currupt pst-File ?
