Automatic sync period?

Hi
I'm trying to find out how to setup MPE to auto sync my Outlook calendar & contacts periodically (and on first connection) but can't find out how to do this. I *think* I've gone through every setting page on Windows and the phone, but I'm stumped ...
Where is this configured?

You can find it under "Multi-Sync" (File > Settings > Multi-Sync).
There you can select what to sync if your phone is connected
- at start
- manually
- automatic
- before end
A periodic sync is not wanted yet, but you can release it with some tweaks.
They were discussed here but i don't know the exact thread, so please use the search function.
best regards...

* What do you mean when you say that "periodic sync is not wanted
yet"? I miss this funcionality a lot!!!. My job involves leaving the office many times a day. it is pretty awkward to have to manually sync the phone every time I leave office.
* Is there any intention to add this option in future version?
* You mentioned a thread discussing this option in details. I couldn't find it. Is it in German?

I've never understood why the author is so against implementing a sync every n minutes.
If you are looking to sync before leaving the office would "Sync before MPS shuts down" not give you this functionality?

when i leave office i do not turn off my pc (i leave it for 1-2 hours), so this wont work for me.
However, i found another solution. i wrote simple script that emulates pressing keyboard combination alt+CTRL+shift+m (this is the combination i chose for starting multi-sync). i then use windows task scheduler to run it every 30 minutes during office hours.
if anyone is interested i can elaborate.
there is another solution that just came to my mind. one can use windows task scheduler to run MPE every 30 minutes, and terminate it after running for 29 minutes. if one sets MPE to sync on startup then this will do the job.

Nice one! Can I suggest a new thread to promote this?
