Hello, I recently installed your program and about a month ago archived sms from a Samsung Galaxy Ace without much issue. I marveled at the smoother functionality of your program compared to PC Suite. Then, today I wanted to do some more archiving and was shocked to find that all the folders I created, save for one, had disappeared! I checked the laptop's Program Files folder where I found the MPE folder but no folder or files of archived data.
Would you kindly advise me where else I may look? I sure hope they are still recoverable since I've deleted the messages from the phone.

MyPhoneExplorer does store the data by default in %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer, there is no other directory
Did you move your database folder in Menu-Settings-Advanced 2 earlier ?
Did you uninstall MyPhoneExplorer in the past ? |

Where can I find this file or folder (or directory)? I have looked at the document,s and into the folders contained inside the My Phone Explorer folder in the Windows Program Files folder but have not seen any document with a similar "%appdata%\MyPhone Explorer"... [/i]

No. Where exactly is this database folder located

No. It has been installed only once, 6-8 weeks ago. |

Click on START in Windows and enter %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer in the search field or for Windows XP in Start-Run |

Thanks again for the reply. I did as you instructed and was able to locate the files but have not yet opened them pending consultation on the safety of opening the files as they are .dat types. I thought that they would be in an excel format like that of pc suite. I also transferred more data from phone to the archives of mpe and thankfully, this time they did not disappear!
