HTC Rezound not recognized by MPE/Can anyone decipher log?

Followed all steps; repeated several times.
Continue to get device not connected message.
However I can see device directory and read files on Windows Explorer.
USB connection appears to be functional but not recognized by MPE.

Probably HTC Sync is launched in background and makes problems for the connection with MPE

I think you are correct, HTC synch was interfering. I deleted the main HTC Synch file and left only the 2 driver files. I am now able to get a stable connection through the USB port.
I will now try to configure the settings to synch my Outlook data.
