Switching to new phone

I am switching to a new phone and am looking to have all my sms / call logs transfered to the new phone so my information is seamless. Contacts / calendar is easy as it is there with outlook. Any way to do this?

Hi.

Create a backup from your old phone and restore this backup to the new phone.

Hi,

Thanks for the info. Just got myself a samsung galaxy note. Was wondering if i could go to %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer and just copy my files namely
calls, notes, sms and smsarchive basically the DAT files into the new phone folder and would it work with migration being easier?

Just a thought.

Not recommened since the dat-File contains alot of flags and IDs which will change on the new phone
