Hi,

I can connect my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone successfully using WiFi to MPE Desktop. However, connecting via USB cable fails. I can connect via KIES or in storage mode but MPE still fails to connect. Any suggestions ?

I need the USB mode since i need to do a sync via another computer which dosen't have WiFi capability.

Thanks,
Sean

Probably you did not enable "USB-Debugging" in Settings-Applications-Development on the phone

Same problem, here (same phone). I have not tried WiFi yet. I have enabled USB-Debugging (it was disabled). I installed the client manually on the phone.

Just saw the FAQ about ABD drivers. Looking into that...

I got it working. Installed the ABD driver AND the Kies software from Samsung's site: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downl ... I777ZKAATT.
Installing JUST the ABD driver didn't work.
I did not try to just extract the USB driver from the Kies package.

Connection failure using USB Cable with Galaxy S2

Hi, I'm new to the Android ICS as well as this forum here. I just got a Galaxy Nexus couple days ago,& I'm still struggling on sync with my Outlook Contacts, Schedules & Tasks.

Despite I finally got connected via wi-fi, I like connecting via USB cable more. However, I have the same problem of PC can't recognize my attached phone (error: no device attached to USB). Does this ADB-Drivers help in Nexus? If yes, how easy & where I can download & install it in my phone?

- MPE-version 1.8.2
- Windows Vista

Thanks.
Sebastian
