My Phone Explorer and Thunderbird 10.0.2 - Syncing calendar

Hello,

I am currently using Thunderbird 9.0.1 with Lightning 1.1.1 and My Phone Explorer. Thunderbird is currently wanting to update to version 10, but says that the MPE add-on is incompatible.

I have not found any list of which versions are compatible with each other and would like MPE to continue syncing with my calendar.

Any ideas?

While updating itself Thunderbird should automatically offer to update Lightning to version 1.2.1 and the MPE add-on to version 2.0.11.

I'm running Thunderbird 10.0.2 and am not experiencing any issues with MPE, sync works A/OK.

yes, I can confirm that MPE will continue to work ok:
Windows 7 x64
Tbird 10.0.2
running MPE 1.8.2
in Tbird, extensions - shows "MyPhoneExplorer 2.0.11"
Lightning 1.2.1 (it automatically updated with the Tbird update)

and able to sync calendar, notes, contacts -- everything works fine.
strange, because even 3 days ago, when I tried to start the update, I was notified by the installation that MPE was incompatible and would be disabled, so I canceled the Tbird update.

Tonight when I went to run the Tbird update, got no such message, and sure enough the update went fine without causing any problems with MyPhoneExplorer at all. As stated by dupontdt, during Tbird update, you'll automatically update Lightning to 1.2.1.

So thumbs up - go ahead and update to Tbird 10.0.2. MyPhoneExplorer will still work flawlessly for you!
