Just to let you (anyone) know although when I did an update of Phone Explorer and chose custom install, selecting NO to the Babylon Software add ons, Babylon Software was installed anyway.

I have a Galaxy S2 and phone explorer has never been able to find it on the USB connection.

Is it possible to use Phone Explorer with the Galaxy S2 ?

I used it with my HTC Desire and got to like it very much, and yes I did make a contribution.

:)

Yes it is

Interesting
I am running Windows 7 pro in 64 bit mode and Phone explorer has never been able to see the Galaxy USB connection.
The Samsung Kies software is so buggy it's untrue and they just don't seem to be able to fix it.
They finally did a software upgrade and I was finally able to upgrade the firmware but then it couldn't find microsoft outlook, which it could before.
When I got it to do so it asked "permission for another program to access Outlook" for every single Contact and Calendar Entry.

I so wish I could use Phone Explorer again.

My phone is showing as being connected in device manager as Samsung Mobile Composite USB device.

I have set Phone Explorer to Auto Detect the connection.
I get the message "Connection to Phone could not be established: No Device attached to USB"

Any suggestions?

I use also the Galaxy S2 on Win7 64bit - works without problems. Did you enable USB-Debugging in your phone ?

This must not happen. As far as i know there is no button with "No" only one labeled as "Decline" and a second labeled with "Accept" -> did you click maybe on accept ? Can you reproduce the behaviour of the setup and if its really the case - can you give me a screenshot ?

Brilliant!

Cheers for that.
It needed the USB Debug mode enabling.

Now seems to work fine :)

Again

Thanks

sorry for my English.
I also have a galaxy s2, but one thing does not work properly.
If I enter a new contact in Outlook (on pc), then when I sync my contacts do not find among the contacts gmail account.
I have to do on your smartphone, the passage: menu-> Connect to gmail-> Merge.
At this point the new contact is inserted into gmail contacts and is actually visible from the browser connected to the post of gmail.
Why not do it automatically?
