Can I display, edit or sort the entries in the SIM-list according to the physical number order in an easy way?
The file SimPhonebook.dat located on C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Application Data\… can be edited with Notepad, will this procedure be safe?
In this file you find the code 145 and sometime the code 129. Please explain this syntax.

Why you need a sort like this ?
145 is for international format, 129 for national/unknown format

Sorry, i don't understand you.
Are we talking from MyPhoneExplorers interface or from the datafile ?

I want to edit the list for the SIM-Card.
The physical number order on the SIM-Card gives me the possibility to quickly dial a contact from the SIM-Card with just a number followed by the #-sign. The phone itself does not need to have the contact in the local phonebook.
I want to edit the SimPhonebook.dat -file to monitor and rearrange the contacts corresponding to the short number used for quick dialing. After synchronization the SIM-Card is supposed to have the same numbering order as the file.
