Thanks for this excellent software!

I recently upgraded to version 1.8.2, along with the Android client app, and noticed that several duplicate contacts have been generated when syncing:

• Thus far, I can't identify the common factor amongst the duplicates: they were viewed, edited, or created on the phone; but others also were viewed, edited, or created on the phone and they were not duplicated.
• I have only synced 3 times: the first one was to copy all items to the phone; second time was a regular sync but using the version prior to 1.8.2; the third sync was with version 1.8.2. Duplicated were generated in the last two syncs.
• Outlook now has 872 contacts, of which 6 have been duplicated once (ie there are 2 copies), and 3 have been duplicated twice (there are 3 copies of each)

I sync with Outlook 2003, from a Samsung Galaxy S2, via wifi.

I started getting duplicate contacts since 1.8.1 and my HTC Desire (Android). Now I don't use the SYNC button... I only use the DOWNLOAD contacts button... and update my contacts via Google Contacts (webpage) or directly on the phone..... which is annoying... since I think MyPhoneExplorer contacts view is the best.

I can recommend ODIR for removing duplicates from Outlook
