The phone does not show alarms for the calendar

I have a Samsung Galaxy S (I9000) and I'm really bored with fighting with Samsung Kies, which does not work. MyPhoneExplorer is a masterpiece in comparison with Kies.

The problem is that the alarms of the calendar events synchronised into the phone from Outlook do not work in the phone. The notification window does not pop up and the sound is not played. All the settings seem to be correct. The alarms of the events set in the phone directly work correctly.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

I use MyPhoneExplorer mainly to synchronise the contacts and the calendar events. The sync seem not to be available for notes, pity. Other features are secondary for me.

When you open a appointment created by MyPhoneExplorer directly in the phone -> is the the notification set ? Is the alarm still visible in the calendar of MPE after sync ? Into which calendar do you sync, did you try for test also another calendar of the phone ?

Notes will be added in the next version

Yes, it is.

It is visible in both devices, after syncing in both directions.

I wish not to use any external servers for my personal data, so I do not use the Google calendar and the like. At present I use the default Samsung-Android calendar. If you can advice me of any other software which could show the data of the default calendar, I would try. I looked for any software of this kind, also paid, but the use of the Google calendar is a standard.

In any case, thanks for your interest. If your software works correctly I would buy it.

Great!

There is a workaround

In the new version the notifications from the calendar still do not pop-up, neither the sound is played. But not always.

Everything works fine if after synchronising I edit just one, arbitrary calendar event on the phone. Then, at the first upcoming event, its pop-up window is shown, and in this window all the missed notifications are shown also. So, after each sync I edit one event and here it goes.

PS. The new version is great  . I am happy to be able to connect to the phone via WiFi, which was not possible with the previous version. Also, the notes and the tasks can be synchronised, so I don't have to simulate these features with "disk" files.

Samsung Galaxy S, not rooted, some strange brand version. Perhaps the problem is caused by the phone?

Nexus 5X doesn't show appointment alerts

Running Nexus 5X Android 8.0.0 and MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.8.
I sync 2013 Outlook appointments with Nexus.
The appointments are viewable in phone, although the phone never alerts me to the appointment. My Outlook does alert.
Interesting Fact: The Nexus used to alert me, although I am unaware what may have changed to stop the alert function. It seems to have just quit overnight. I uploaded the newest version (1.8.8 ) and still no resolution.
Please provide troubleshooting steps to resolve.
