Good day to you. I have an issue with the MPE not connecting to my HTC Incredible S. I have a new dell laptop on Windows Vista. There should be no issues with the application and the phone since it is working on another laptop running on windows 7. I connect my phone through USB cable. I have HTC Sync installed on my laptop for the drivers but the MPE still cannot connect to my phone. any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!
Regards,
Franco

So you installed HTC sync on the laptop then selected HTC sync on the phone for USB mode when plug in the USB cable?
I have this sort of issue as when away from home there is no wifi connection to use.
Just downloading the latest HTC sync to see if it makes a difference.
HTC sync is super bloatware at 148MB! so might be a while on this dongle!

Thanks! i already got HTC Sync on my laptop before i downloaded MPE. problem is it just wont recognize the Incredible S connected to the PC. I managed to connect through Wi-Fi so I can go with that for now.

I don't think the HTCs can connect to this via USB, the Bluetooth certainly does not work properly.
The WiFi works but what do you do when you are not on your router at home?

- enable USB-Debugging on phone
- when you plug in then choose "Charge only" in the menu
Already done ?
