Hi everyone,
Sorry if this has been asked before but im completely stuck and needed some advice!
My W995 phone was stolen and my phone company said they couldnt replace my W995 as they were out of stock so i was given an x10 mini as a replacement. The problem is that the only backups of sms and contacts are in myphoneexplorer and im having trouble restoring these backups to my new x10 mini.
The sms seem to be restoring fine but for some reason the contact details arent being recognised. If anyone could help with this i would appreciate it as i dont have another copy of the contacts at all. Is there any way to open the older myphoneexplorer files and read them into excel or anything similar? Im completely stuck!

Thanks for replying.
I actually realised the back-up is from 12 months ago from a C902. The text messages are restoring but no contact details (i.e. no names and phone numbers) are restoring at all. It wont let me even highlight the box when restoring the backup either.
The text messages are restoring though im having a bit of trouble with that but im manually selecting and uploading them at the moment. |

Are you sure the backup contains also contacts ? maybe you deselected this option when you created the backup. You can also try to import the backup into the contacts.list (rightclick->Import/Export...) |

The contacts were definitely backed up there as that was one of the main points of backing it up. However, for some reason now it says there are no contacts. Could this be because i downloaded version 1.8 of myphoneexplorer? Could this have corrupted the file at all? |

I got the files.
Backup C902 13_02_2010.mpb and Backup C902 15_02_2010.mpb contains contact (about 140). On the other backups you deselected saving the contacts, the files are NOT corrupt. |
