Photo sync fails on Smasung Captivate

Background: I have a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate. When I look at the memory stick display via MPE, it shows Phone Memory and Memory Stick. When I click on the Memory Stick option, among the folders listed is external_sd. This "external_sd" is a link to the actual "external" SD card (8gb in my case).

Problem: When I do a Multi-sync, if I have "Sync Pictures" selected, it syncs everythin previous to that perfectly. Unfortunately, as soon as it starts to sync the pictures, it crashes.

Runtime error2 http://db.tt/o4j3vPo

I did have Picture sync working, I think with v1.7 maybe 1.8 but with 1.8.1, everything else has been so rock solid, I didn't want to rollback if I don't have to. For the time being, I've created a "File sync" option but I do miss the dated folders that you get with the proper picture sync option.

I am running Windows 7 x64. Up to date patches, Quad core, 8gb Ram, nothing really fancy.

tried that... and while it doesn't crash anymore, it still says it can't find the photos on the phone. I've tried having the camera save folder directed to the "internal card" and thew "external_sd" card" (or true SD card location). Neither seems to make any difference.

As poiinted out by others, the Samsung Captivate S series report the "card storage" in a rather odd manner... The Phone memory, is just that, memory for the phone and apps, not storage. Then there is the Internal Storage (on most phones this is the SD card) but not the Samsung galaxy. This is actual onboard memory that the phone reports as, and most programs see as, an SD card. in fact, within the Internal Storage Folder list, there is a link to "external_sd' folder which in fact is a link to the tru SD card of the devices.

Just tested again - it should work. Please tell me the full path of a photo which was saved from phone.

MPE searches on this paths:
Memory Stick\external_sd\DCIM\100ANDRO
Memory Stick\external_sd\DCIM\100MSDCF
Memory Stick\external_sd\DCIM\100MEDIA
Memory Stick\external_sd\DCIM\Camera
