MPE telling me Client is outdated but won't update the app.

I just upgraded my PC desktop version of MPE to 1.8.1. When I connected to my device for the first time after this, I got a dialog box with the message
"The app 'MyPhoneExplorer Client' on your phone is outdated. It's necessary to update the app. Do you wish to make this update now?"

If I click "Yes", it just shows me the same dialog box again. If I click "No", the dialog box goes away and everything seems to work fine. But then I get the message again the next time I connect.

I have checked the Android Market and there is no update to MPE Client.

How can I prevent this message from appearing?

I had the same problem with an additional message that I could only update via the android marketplace...

I delete MPC off my phone, reinstalled and it works now.

Please post the logfile after you tried to update the Client throught MyPhoneExplorer

Fixed by re-installing

I did the same as av8trx (remove and re-install the client) and it's not prompting me to update the app any more.
