Privacy setting in calender sync

Finally I found a sync-programme that worked. Thanks for that, fjsoft!
I sync my phone calendar with my work calendar (outlook 2007).
Normally, the calendar events I write into my phone manually are private.
Is there any way that all events that are updated from the phone to outlook can be flagged as "Private" in Outlook? Thereby, my collegues at work who have access to my work calender will only see the time of the events, but not the contents.
I had this possibility in the sync-tool of my previous phone (a rather un-smart Nokia).
Vital facts:
- Model of phone (HTC Desire)
- Type of connection (USB)
- MPE-version (MPE 1.8.0)
- Windows version (Windows XP Professional)
Kind regards!

Hi,
MPE is a great app, thank you !
I have a question concerning the calendar and the private events :
The calendar events I write into my phone manually are generally private but I can't flagged them "private".
When I updated those private events from the phone to Outlook, they are not flagged as "Private" in Outlook....unfortunatly.... and my collegues at work, who have access to my work calendar, will see the time of my private events and the contents too.
So, I need to flagged them manualy...in Outllok.
It could be great if the app could do it automaticaly.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Kind regards

Private appointments no longer private after sync

New to Android -- I am happy to find this helpful app (having been active user of Nokia PC Suite).
My setup is:
Outlook syncs with phone via Mail for Exchange (MFE) setup at work.
My Outlook calendar contains personal appointments marked private.
I do not use Google calendar.
I have used MPE at home for SMS and have added a couple of appointments in the calendar. I have synced with my phone, which in turn syncs with Outlook via MFE.
I have experienced two things:
1/ the following day, logging onto Outlook, I get a ton of alarms/reminders for mostly old appointments.
2/ appointments that were previously private in Outlook are no longer private.
Any suggestions on how to avoid this?
Vital facts:
- Model of phone (HTC Desire)
- Type of connection (WiFi)
- MPE-version (MPE 1.8.2) & Client version 1.0.14
- Windows version (Windows 7)

Please try the
current beta (and delete wrong synced items before in the calendar)

Thanks for suggestion. I have now tried the beta.
My experience was that I created an appointment in phone explorer & synced to phone. The appointment did not have "private" setting in my Outlook calendar. Before the sync, MPE had a pop-up window with something like "no appointments are available" & I had to make a choice. I do not recall the details. Now, the calendar on MPE is blank. In the Multi-sync settings I have selected "sync organizer."
any suggestions? thanks.

Take a look in the settings of the client on the phone which calendars are selected for the sync with MPE

I have tried again. Now with client version 1.0.16
1/ Created appointment in MPE desktop application. Synced to phone. Then synced phone to Outlook. Appointment appears in Outlook. The appointment is public. Easy enough -- I just need to specify it as private there.
2/ 38 reminders. Oldest ones 128 weeks overdue... That was the result when opening Outlook. Remedy: "Dismiss All" in Outlook. Only mild irritation.
3/ Most private appointments remained private in Outlook after this exercise. However, a few are no longer private. Cannot see a pattern / identify why certain appointments do not continue to be private.
Conclusion: a bit quirky. For my needs I will stick to working via Outlook & occasional calendar entry directly in the phone. Will stick to SMS functionality in MPE desktop.

Since there is no privacy field in the GUI of MPE Desktop you cannot control this field in myPhoneExplorer Desktop, but its still synced to Outlook
If you create a private appointment in the phone and then it gets added in Outlook by MPE during sync then it should be "private" also in outlook. Is this the case ?
