Sync notes setting is disable

Can anyone tell me why the "sync notes" setting is disabled in the Multi-sync settings? I have a myTouch 4g. Is it looking for a specific notes program? Or is there some kind of specific driver I need? I'm using the HTC driver and have USB debugging turned on.

Unfortunately, it appears that MPE does not support synching Outlook notes with MT4G yet. I have the same problem and am trying NitroNotes as a possible alternative until this feature is added to MPE.
Are notes sync ALWAYS disabled with Android?

Does anybody know if notes can be synced with ANY android notes application? Or is it simply disabled when syncing with a 'droid??

grfxguy, I hope you'll share your experiences with NitroNotes. That looks like the best option so far and I plan to check it out soon.
