I can't setup my Outlook calendar on the client. The only option for Calendars to sync is NULL. I removed MPE client and reinstalled. Still only have NULL as the Calendar option.
Please Help.

Does the phone connect to MPE? I think I've seen this when the phone is disconnected and/or the MPE client is missing from the phone.

You have to set up your CalendarAccount on phone. Add a test-entry on phone and then sync again
calendar settings are NULL

My contacts synced flawlessly. Very easy to do, and instructions were easy to follow. Calendar won't let me enter a test event the message is, 'You must synchronize a calendar before creating a new event'
I tried syncing both, and from outlook to phone.
I cleared the log file, maybe I should have done that because now I get the message when I try to sync. 'Obex protocol could not be initialized! OBEX Errorcode: D0 - Internal Server Error

OK, then sync once with the motorola sync-software so that the calendar-database gets initialized - or set up a google calendar account
same issue; what's motorola sync software?

I do not want to use Google Calendar, and use Outlook instead. Which is why I am using MyPhoneExplorer to begin with. An issue is that once a Google account is added to the phone, it cannot be removed anymore without performing a factory reset.
With the Calendar on the device being NULL, MyPhoneExplorer seems to successfully sync calendar items, but nothing ever shows up on the phone. Subsequent syncs also attempt to recreate new calendar entries each time, to no avail.
How do I get a calendar to be not NULL?

I downloaded Fliq Calendar application and created a calendar and an entry using it. MyPhoneExplorer client does not show this calendar. It's still only NULL.

I didn't want to use google calendar if I didn't have to. But I will sync my outlook calendar with google and disable my calendar in MPE. I had hoped that I could use MPE to sync my calendar, but I have seen others have issues with calendar syncing. So I will move on... I guess it's okay if my meetings and granddaugher's birthdays and daugher's anniversary are in the google cloud. Thanks for your help.

Trying to sync Outlook 2010 with a T-Mobile myTouch 4G. My Outlook calendar will sync with the desktop MPE, but not go from there to the phone. The only option I get during confirmation is to delete items from my phone calendar.
I'm using USB sync (can't get MPE to see phone on WiFi).
I don't really want to have to go through Google, especially for my contacts which have critical client data, but after having spent way too many hours trying to get MPE to work properly, it appears I have no choice until such time this gets fixed.
I like nearly everything about the MT4G, EXCEPT what, as a former BB owner, I USED to take for granted - the direct, simple, uncomplicated synchronization between Outlook and my phone.

grfxguy - how did you get MyPhoneExplorer to recognize that the myTouch 4G was hooked to computer?
i'm keep getting error: " Connection to phone could not be established: No device attached to USB."
Is it maybe because i don't have any of the "normal" problems of connecting phone to computer just as Disk Drive (heard there have been many problems, but found fix in just clearing some data)
Any help would be great!

MyPhoneExplorer does sync with the standard-calendar database on android. And this is the Android-Calendar. You can disable the calendar sync with the cloud. Enable "Automaic sync" in the account-settings and then open the google account and uncheck "Sync calendar"

is there any other program apart from mpe that will sync with other calendar databases like jorte or fliq?
