Max. Length of SMS ?

Hello,
great functionality of MyPhoneExplorer is the SMS sending.
But, I got to know, that SMS length is limited. During the sending of SMS e.g. I'm getting the message "Sending failed". When the sent SMS is shorter, it passes.
What is wrong ?

please post debug log! I sent an sms with about 300 signs so i guess there should be no problem. Maybe if you send an sms more then 4-5 sms lengths long, but as I have never tried it myself I cant be sure.
But please post the debug log (or send it to FJ via Email!) so we can see into it!

Is there any kind of timeline on this?
Its a little annoying, sinse this is the most used function here.

I used to be able to send sms with unlimited length, at least I never expericed any problems or noticed a max length before, but lately I have to cut them into pieces.
Really annoying.
Something to do with recent change of phone (Xperia Z1)?
Used MPE without this problem over several models over the years.
