hi FJ i had a problem with my MPE 1.4.5. im using MPE to backup all of my sms (daily), then yesterday my sms.dat reached 733 KB, my MPE got crashed ... it wont load just like normally...

when i reinstall MPE (i zipped my MPE data 1st) it works just normally, no sign of program crashed, it just runs well...

now i have 2 sms.dat files (1 (older sms.dat ) zipped, and another 1 (newer) is under the MPE directory)...


is there any solution for my problem???
can i just put it (older & newer sms.dat) together into 1 single file...




MPE is great s/w, really2 great, there's nothing like this...

This bug is fixed in the upcoming version, inbetween deactivate the Log-Function and it will work

i've downloaded the mpe 1.5.1, but still it cant help solve my problem... when i put the large sized sms.dat into the mpe directory, the mpe crashed again....

did you mean uncheck "Write log file" inside the Option or i should do something else ???

Yes, uncheck the "Write log file" is the right way.

To find the bug i have to take a look on the sms.dat file. Please send it to me zipped - but not in this file are all your personal messages (i'm not interested in any personal data but you should know this).

did you or someone else ever had similiar problem like me ???? or just me ???

You are the only person which has this problem. Maybe you edited the sms.dat-file with notepad and now the manual changes raise MyPhoneExplorer to crash
