Some calendar events not syncing with Outlook 2010

I’m synching a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro with Outlook 2010, MPE version is 1.8.0.

Date format is DD/MM/YYYY (we live in Australia).

The Debug.txt is VERY big, so I won’t post it here, but am happy to email it if you provide me with an email address.

Some of the problems are listed here:

In Outlook, the event shows as:

Recurrence: Occurs every day effective 12/02/2011 until 15/02/2011 from 08:00 to 18:00

In MPE the whole day is highlighted (8:00 – 18:00) and shows recurring but has NOT come over to the phone.

Another event shows in Outlook as:

Recurrence: Occurs every day effective 1/03/2011 until 4/03/2011 from 08:00 to 18:00

In MPE it shows correctly. However only two days have come over to the phone but they show on the 4/03/2011 and 5/03/2011; ie the 5th is not one of the correct days. During this four day period there are other events on two of the days and they do not show on the phone either but do on MPE.

Another event in Outlook shows as:

Recurrence: Occurs every day effective 8/03/2011 until 5/04/2011 from 07:30 to 07:30

In MPE it shows correctly. However on the phone it shows up until 6/04/2011, one day too long. If you open the event on the phone it says until 1/01/1970!

Birthdays in Outlook show as:

Recurrence: Occurs every day effective the day they are born.

In MPE it shows correctly. However on the phone many don’t show up at all. Quite a few birthdays have come over to the phone though. It seems to be ok from March onwards.

Another event in Outlook shows as:

Recurrence: Occurs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday effective 3/01/2011 until 31/12/2013 at 07:00. I have moved some days, like one week it’s now Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

In MPE it always shows Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday most weeks, but not all. The week when I have moved the days around, it only shows on Wednesday, so missing Thursday and Friday. On the phone, for that particular week, it shows up on Wednesday, so same as MPE.

I have entered all the dates manually into Outlook, starting from 1st of January 2011. It seems to be most problems in the early part of the year.

This works for me, difficult to fix

There is a bug in the date-calculation module of android. It seems that the phone has problems with 28.February - even if its not a leap year. I am search a solution for this issue

Known problem. The calendar-app on phone has problems to calculate ruled events before 1970

MPE does not calculate/transfer moved instances of a ruled event
