I just factory resetet my phone. Before that I had backuped everything with MyPhoneExlorer.

I was hoping that all my apps and everything else would come back again with this app.

When I try to restore again, just the phone book, sms... restores.
I have backuped around 2 gb from my SD card and internal memory. I was thinking this would be recovered also.

I don't get the idea why I backuped when I can not put them back again.

Is there any solution?

No.

MPE syncs contacts, sms and calender items, along with maybe photos and stuff.
No system settings or apps.

There are apps for your phone that does system backups, but for now you are screwed.

Please advice how to restore apps on my HTC desire after factory restet.

Backup was created with help of MyPhone Explorer, inclusive apps.

Apps from the market will get downloaded again as soon as you re-connect to the market. No data for the apps obviously, just the apps themselves.

Connecting to the marked does not solve the problem.

I do the following steps with My Phone Explorer connected to my HTC:
Create Backup; select directory and fyle name
select only SMS(phone) and applications
select same folder for applications as for backup
Backup is created; all apps are in the selected folder as .apk files.

Disconnect phone
Delete two apps from my phone

Connect phone

Restore backup in MyPhoneExplorer
select the just made back up
select only (SMS phone)
Restore Backup
Close

Connect to Market: nothing happens

Disconnect phone
Connect to Market: nothing happens.


How can I restore my lost apps?????

Do you not have to re-enter your login details for the market?
And if you have the apk files you can use MPE to install them. Under Files - Applications.

Though I'm just a user ........

I've never touched my Market credentials since I got the phone so was just "assuming" you had to enter login details as I had forgotten .... Is it not your gmail details then?

You must have the apk file on your pc somewhere, then connect your phone to Pc via MPE. The 'Applications' option is under 'Files' - look to the left side of the MPE client under windows. Then just follow the instructions.
