First, I don't whether this problem is caused by the new sony ericsson pc companion. I didn't test whether the MPE work right before I update the PC companion, update service and media go. But it appeared abnormal after that.
The problem is that the MPE just exit without any error report when it launched. Then I uninstall it, delete all my personal data and reinstall it again. It seems no problem unless I click the "setting". It just exit again.
Then I try to uninstall all the PC companion, update service and media go, clear up the registry, reboot, change the installation position and any other things I could figure out. It still remains.

My OS is Win7 U x64(DBCS) and there isn't any special thing in the DEBUG.txt. Could anyone give me a suggestion?

I'm sure the DBCS-Mode of your PC raises the problem. There are some known problems when DBCS is enabled which i was not able to fix

But the MPE runs normally for several months, so there must be some change in the system caused this problem. Merely I couldn't find it.
It just like if I try to open the settings or user-XXX-change name/password or I try to read the message from the phone
, the MPE exit.

And it won't happen on my other DBCS PC even for portable.

It crashes while loading the SMS-Archive-File, maybe there is a corrup message in the archive or the DBCS-Problem takes effect cause you have a unicode-sms in the archive. There are many problems with DBCS-Mode so if MPE works good for you in DBCS-Mode then its luck, not more not less.
