Hello MPE experts,

I have an issue related with the ADB driver. I am running Windows 7 HP 64 and Xperia X10 with Android 2.1.

I start MPE and see in task manager that it starts 2 adb.exe, one dies quick and the other remains active. I use MPE regularly with no issues and it does the job.
When I push disconnect the adb.exe instance don't finish and remains on the task manager list. It remains there after I close MPE and it keeps the USB driver in use. So if I want to unplug the telephone from the PC the USB driver say it is still in use. To unplug the telephone I have to kill the ADB.exe process in task manager first and then stop USB driver.

Thank you in advance.
Rodrigo

Please try it with the newest adb.exe from the official SDK: http://dl.google.com/android/android-sd ... indows.zip
Dont run the setup, the adb.exe is in subfolder "tools". Replace the Adb-Files in C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPhoneExplorer\DLL with the new files and then try it again

The new version didn't do anything better.
Actually, MPE starts this ADB.exe twice. When I sync my sms I see 2 ADB.exe in my task list, when the sync is over there is still one left...

Its normal that one instance keeps running, but this should raise no problems with USB.
So if I want to unplug the telephone from the PC the USB driver say it is still in use.
Do you get a error-message ?
