satio backup and restore issue

Hi guys! iv been using MPE as if it were a god and ill continue to do so.
However, recently i got the Sony ericsson satio and i have download the latest version of MPE (v1.
, but there seems to be an issue with it.
It will connect and sync fine.
~Ill be able to create a backup of everything, then be able to restore it
~BUT for instance in the event i create a restore again, delete all my contacts and messages and then try restoring the back up restore point. However everything will restore except my inbox messages which WONT restore at all.
Most of my messages were really important for to me (both personal and businesses), which iv lost more then once now(i.e happened quite a few times) as i was relying on MPE to be able to restore my messages in the event my phone gets gets damaged(which happens quite frequently).
Im not complaining or anything, i understand its my own fault and risk. Id just like to know why this is happening and how i can remedy this.
I have tried turning my phone on and off, reinstalling MPE, have the latest of MPE, tried on different PC's and it gives the same problems.
I hope someone has a solution to this, it would be greatly appreciated as i rely on MPE quite heavily.
