Hi,
Just wanted to know if there's any news on this?
I've always been using MPE for my SE devices, but now I saw that it was android compatible I could not get my hands down

but I would love to be able to sync over bluetooth

I am keen on this too, and it's why I visited the forum today. WiFi connection is very cool but mine cuts out when the phone goes to sleep so I won't get SMS alerts on my desktop, which is a shame. That would not happen with BlueTooth.
Also I wanted to say thank you for bringing MPE to Android. I stopped using SE phones two years ago and MPE was the only thing I missed about owning an SE. (Well, that and the longer battery life...)
Thanks again!

Which client version is installed on your phone?
In the current version you can set to prevent standy while client is running.
best regards...

I already keep Bluetooth on constantly, to connect automatically to my car's system. Keeping WiFi on all the time too would drain the battery too much. I could perhaps connect it with a cable but then I would certainly leave it behind when I left my desk.

What I meant was that you can disable the standby mode while your phone is connected between MPE desktop application and MPE client on the phone.
This option prefents a WiFi disconnect while your phone would go to sleep.
When MPE client closes your phone is going back to sleep to keep battery.
best regards...

But with my old SE phone I kept MPE open on the desktop, and when a text came in the alert would appear on my screen immediately, and I could respond to it through my PC without taking my phone out of my pocket.
if I kept WiFi awake and the MPE Client open on my Android phone, would it send texts on my PC desktop the same way?

Please do not compare older SE-Phones with Android. The background for the connection is completly diffrent

Yes
