I just installed MPE yesterday. I have a Droid X w/Android 2.2. I know this may sound stupid, but I cannot find any information on how MPE works, and there appears to be no Help file or User Manual.

All I want to do initially is to sync my Outlook 2003 contacts and calendar. I am running Windows XP Pro - SP3.

I tried to search the Forum but I guess I did not know the right combination of words to find anything - Sorry.

First etablish the connection, then you can setup the Outlook-Sync in Menu-File-Settings-Sync

If you have problems with connection then click on the Help-Button in the error message

I figured out how to sync my Outlook contacts and I thought my Outlook calendar, but two things happened:

1. Although I had the contact setting at "Last Name, First Name" just like it is in Outlook, it still came through as "First Name, Last Name".

2. When I checked the calendar on the phone nothing had come over from Outlook. All the dates were blank.

1. As i told, the setting takes effect only for contacts which were created/edited after you changed the setting

2. Its a bug in the client, create first a appointment in phone
