I notices that task sync is available for the Sony Ericsson phones but not for Android. Is this because of the unavailability of a standard tasks app that MPE can sync with?
Is this a feature that is on the cards for the future?

The main reason is the missing tasks-app on phone. I don't know if Android will create a native Task-App in future
