Mr. Deauville says in FAQ Possible connections to MyPhoneExplorer

There are four possibly ways to connect your phone with MyPhoneExplorer:

- USB
- serial cable
- Bluetooth
- Infrared

In each case one ore more virtual COM-ports will be installed on which MyPhoneExplorer will be able to communicate with your phone.

Hi Newbee,

USB is not directly supported, so there must be a virtual COM port.
If you've uninstalled SE PC Suite, maybe you've also uninstalled the drivers for your phone.
However, you don't need SE PC-Suite installed, but you allways need the phone drivers which will install that virtual COM ports to use with MPE.

So, if this is what happened, reinstall the phone drivers, reboot your pc, restart your phone, connect the USB cable and click on "Search device" in MPE's settings. There should be listed some more COM ports.
