CTRL A not working on contacts

hi all...i have downloaded my phone contacts into myphoneexplorer..i now want to delete all the email contacts on my phone which got synced via gmail

i put @ in the filter, it shows 2186 contacts, i select first contact, and then hit ctrl a, the x button to delete now gets grayed out, which means i cn delete one contact at a time but not multiple contacts.

pls advise if there is a way out to this.

any help will be appreciated

guys pls help..is there no one here who is aware of this simple glitch in the software...u cant expect a user to manually delete 2000 contacts one by one...whts d use of the software then!!

Well, there is no glitch. The way you described it works.

But, if you try to delete 2000 contacts in one single operation your phone is going to stop this process as a precaution. You wan´t to rethink about that.
