Love the program!

However, I have a rooted Nexus One and although I'm a good guy and don't pirate apps/software, I do make backups of my entire phone and/or separate backups of whatever apps I have installed at any given time in case of a crash.

However, I can't set MPE to automatically backup the data/app or data/app-private directories because MPE can't see them...!

I did a quick search for a solution/others asking about this and didn't find anything, sorry if this is a repeat.

Yes, I'm aware of "how this could make pirating easy" bla bla bla, but if the phone is rooted, it's real easy to do so anyway. MPE isn't going to increase or decrease anything. I just want to back up _everything_ on my phone and/or be able to write to specific directories (custom ringtones stored on main memory, for instance.)

Comments?

myPhoneExplorer "sees" what the client in phone is able to see. I have currently no idea how to force that the client is able to see hidden folders.

Hidden Files

I used to be able to connect my phone with the USB cable (but the solder has come undone so I connect with Bluetooth and charge with an external battery charger. But that's not important)

The problem I have is that I backed up the whole phone once and know that there are files in the hidden directory \system\downloads that are using up space on my phone that are failed downloads.

Why can't MyPhoneExplorer at least make it possible to write the address you want to access?

Delete Hidden Files

Just adding to my last post I managed to delete the hidden files using FileExplorer.jar I found at http://sharemobile.ro/file.php?id=325170

I couldn't see the hidden folders but because I knew where the file was located I could "jump to path" and the actual file was visible.

This is just a quick fix and I would rather do this with MyPhoneExplorer and delete the folders too and not just the files.
