I think it would be great if you could sync the groups from the phone with the groups in gmail
By the way, thanks for this great app. I love it and i need it

@Raino:
Access to MMS is technically not possible.
It's nearly impossible to cut of the country code, there are so many different formats (you have to think global). And if only the number without country code is shown in contacts view, many users will ask here in the forum what happend with their numbers!

It's technically not possible to access the groups in the phone.
Hi,
I like to use my c905 on the cradle by my pc at work during the day - it lets me get to facebook and music unlike my work PC
The cradle and so the browser and the media player are in landscape, so the arrow keys on the phone keypad are 90degrees off!
May I suggest a feature where a landscape keypad layout can be called up when a button is clicked?
Since it´s not already present (nor in phone) I guess it isn´t possible...But it would be really nice to be able to copy, selected, contacts from phone to SIM.
Btw...the memory status tells med I have a total of 500 spaces at SIM, but there is only 250.
basicly Copy&Paste between Phone-Contacts and SIM-Contacts works already in MyPhoneExplorer. But the access to the SIM-Contacts is in general very buggy cause many phone does strange things when MPE wants to write/delete SIM-Contacts.
Ah...I was looking for a direct menuitem "copy to..."
copy/paste worked ok...mark/tag entries to copy/delete/whatever more than one at a time would help...both in sms- and contact section (and elsewhere) when you want to handle entries not appearing in list after each other.
masybe you are right. but since the problems in SIM-Access (which are raised from the phone and connot be fixed in external software) i don't want to add more features to SIM-Contacts. If there are more features in this task then the users will use this content more -> result: more users will see that it does not work stable.
hi, thanks for FJ Sot team, i hope, my phone explorer can capture live video from camera phone (k800i). so... i can use my phone as security camera using bluetooth through my phone explorer in my room.... thak's all... sory my english is bad...
How about a feature where you can download inbox,outbox,etc.. Not just syncronize, but download so new messages will be added to the 'inbox/outbox etc section in Myphoneexplorer.
Apologies if the feature is here already and I've missed it but is there any change an option could be given whereby when the SMS Message Inbox is sync'd from the phone they could automatically be added to the archive on the Computer?
This option does not exist and i don't think it will be added. On about 30.000 messages the Archive gets very slow and your wish would create many trash in the archive.
I noticed that when items in the Inbox are added to the Archive a check is carried out to see whether the message already exists, this means that the entire Inbox can be selected for archiving yet only those not present (in my case the newest) will be added. This simplifies the archiving to nearly the same extent of my original request which is what I was after.
Thanks for this great piece of software by the way.
This works also, but you know that you are adding messages, and now you know also that its not good to add too many messages. Automatic tasks are good, but there is also a bad thing: The User enables the feature and after a long time he wonders why MPE is such a slow application - maybe he also forgot that the automatic Archive-Copying was enabled - do you understand ?
maybe the following tweak will be interesting for you:
Open the file general.ini and add the line NeverCreateDuplicatesInMessageArchive=1 directly under [Main].
With this setting MPE will never copy duplicates into the archive - without warning-message.
This app is the best! One feature I would like to see is to be able to sync the calendar to google and thunderbird at the same time. Currently you have to choose one. It is however possible to sync thunderbird to google with a thunderbird plugin but it would be simpler if I my phone explorer did it directly.
