I voted "Backup your phone" because it seemed closest. I use Multi-sync to make a complete incremental backup of all the data on my phone, by copying the data partition.

I also sync with Outlook at the same time and copy messages etc., as well as transfer data from PC to phone, but I consider backing up the phone's data to be the most useful feature of MPE, as I create files in many different apps and it would be impractical to back them up individually.

middle name

I notices, that if I have in Outlook same named people, except middle name is different, then MPE ignore the middle name and push to Android a merge of both contacts.
I am using middle name column to distique family members. Like Albert father Einstein,Albert brother Einstein, and so on... And my father has same name as brother, so I get in my Android a one contact merge of both. But i think, it is because Outlook-contact has more columns then Android contact.

Sync with:
1. Organizer
2. Contacts
3. Messages
4. Calls.
5. Files.

Backup.

I like to sync each category individually so that I can confirm individual changes. Breaking the syncs down this way makes them more manageable for me especially for the Contacts; I have the most problems with Contacts so I don't sync them as often as I do the Organizer.

I only use the multi-sync for Organiser and Contacts. I don't keep photos on my phone and also haven't really looked at the other functions of the software.

What I use most is syncing my Contacts and Messages. My next step is then to archive/save all my contact, messages, appointments, etc, which is my primary goal.

I use MPE only about once every 2 to 3 months but it is a most invaluable tool for me. I am self-employed and I need to keep some record of all my contacts, messages, appointments, notes, etc. So MPE is kind of like my secretary. :) Downloading and creating and archiving files is a breeze now. Previously, I used to copy out all my messages and contacts by hand!!!

SE's PCCompanion can't hold a candle to MPE! That's an expression which means PCC is not equal to and does not measure up to the greatness of MPE. :)

I use MPE to copy contacts and appointments from Outlook to my phone.

All information originates from Outlook, so I do a copy, not a sync, this way I have better control over Outlook's data -- I prefer (after an HTC sync fiasco) that nothing touches Outlook data, only copies from it.

Main use is to sync contact with OUTLOOK without using the cloud and to sync and back up files from the phone.

Your app and software is great as it allow syncing between computer and phone without putting all your information on the web. Usually you have to sync via a web-base system..

I like to keep my details private and try to avoid putting thing on the web..

Great feature as well for the SMS.

Ditto on this post.
This is exactly how I use this application.

Mostly during the day I use it to change my text feature into an ongoing chat with my wife. I only wish I could see photo's that she sends to me or even a notification that a photo message was received during our chats.

Thanks for the great tool man.

Mostly used for phone backup.
Of course, I do sync too... with Thunderbird.

I use Organizer Sync most often, but File Sync is also VERY important. It would be nice to be able to sync multiple directories at one time, with one action.

1. Use Contact Manager

2. Send & reply to messages
3. Use File Manager

(reverse number lookup has never seemed to work at all for me- although I haven't spent a lot of time trying to figure it out)

I wish the Contact Manager were a little less glitchy (addresses in particular). The data gets randomly shifted around between the fields and the US address formatting is sporadic & unreliable.

Send Message (all the time, several times a day)
Call Manager (almost every call made with the phone)

With some minor use of the other functions. I use MPE mainly as a way to manipulate my phone without needing to have it in my hands.

the most useful functions are outlook events syncronisation and sms message reading on PC.
If MPE could deliver not only events from outlook calendar but also messages - it would be great

Multisync, sending messages, backup

Not sure what value a poll like this is. But I mainly use Multisync, and reading / replying to SMS messages, and backup.

In last few days I upgraded from HTC Velocity to Nexus 6P and MPE was invaluable (if a bit frustrating) in the migration.
