i think its better if i make this option checked as default in the next version

When I noticed the problem, I searched through all the config screens but couldn't see anything in there. Just didn't think of actually sending another message.

Changing the default in the next version would be good. Cheers

Hi all.
I've recently upgraded from a K800 to a K850 and am now having problems maintaining a connection to my phone with the latest version of the software.

Whenever I do get a connection (by using the "Search for Device" button) and then try and send a text message I always receive a failure message. The text is actually sent but I'm told it failed. The connection to the phone is lost and then if I use "Search for Device" again, this fails too until I physically disconnect and reconnect the phone to the USB port.

If I use any other actions (syncing etc. it works fine and the connection is maintained). Could anyone offer any help?

The K850i has some bugs with the USB-Connection. Reported from some users, it has nothing to do with the software - the connnection goes also lost if you use the PC-Suite. I hope SE will fix this soon in the next firmware-version

My K850i connects over BT with MPE 1.6.3. I just had to do the "Search for device" in File -> Options -> Connection.

the usb connection works ok for me!
vista + 850 + 1.6.3
