In the Conversation section in the Windows application, I suggest making it possible to select two or more threads (Shift/Ctrl) and delete them in one go.

Set a period (.) as a filter, then you can use the keyboard shortcuts CTRL + Shift to mark

Hello and many thanks for an excellent program! I know this probably won't ever happen, but I'd love to have MPE Server for Android, at least the remote management part of it. Specifically, I wish to take screenshots of my Sony Ericcsson's UI without having to use a computer just for that. Very Happy

Hello,

"Control Phone" menu:
1. Doesn't support typing characters other than plain latin, eg. é o ü
2. When switching back to the PC, moving to another app with ALT+TAB and switching back to the "Control phone" window, the window's black. Hitting the Refesh button does nothing. Must hit "Wake up device button".

General:
In the menu bar, add the usual Help section, with two additional items: About, and Forum

Hi. again this is great software.
There does not seem to be a quick way to view the contact details from the SMS message.
Maybe by right click a message and selecting view contact ??

You can "add number to Phonebook"
But can not see a way to view number in phonebook?

Or I see there is a "Edit Contract" icon in the Call Log section. Changes between "add number to phonebook" and "Edit Contact". Can this be adding to the Messages section?

Hello,
I have just noticed the following:
1 -I use a list of appointments that include the Formula 1 Grand Prix season.
2 -I apply a filter by the term Formula, e.g.
3 -I get the list of all the Formula 1 GPs of the season, OK
4 -I do "Delete past appointments", the program deletes all past Formula 1 appointments and all other saved past appointments.
Would it be possible to implement that when using this command on a filtered list, only the items in this list will be deleted and not the entire database?

In addition to syncing the contact home and work addresses between Android and Outlook, it would be nice to be able to sync the "other" address.

When I copy a contact under Contacts/Google and then paste it (on the same phone or a different one), a window with contact details opens, and I can select a different account by xxx "Account" there. In particular, I can move a contact from my Google account to my local account in that way.
However, if I select several contacts under whatever account, copy them, and then select a different one under "Contacts" in the left panel and click "Paste" in the right-click menu in right panel, all those copied contacts are pasted under the same account.
It would be nice to be able to select a different account for them. For example, now I have dozens of Google contacts from my old broken phone, as well as some Google contacts in my new phone, and I would like to quickly move all those contacts to the local account in my new phone.

Do you believe this beta is stable enough to use it with my main phone? I do not care if something does not work properly yet, as long as it does not spoil the database, delete some contacts arbitrarily when syncing, etc. Smile

When duplicates are found, it is possible to drag-and-drop phone numbers and other data. However, the type of such number always remains the same in the resulting "after" column. It would be nice to be able to correct a wrong type in that process.
Example:

Home: 1
Work: 2
Mobile: 3

#2:
Home: 1
Mobile: 4

If you drag the mobile number from #2, it can only become "Mobile (2): 4" in "after". Suppose, however, that for contact #2 I had wrongly entered 4 as "Mobile", while in fact it is one of the work numbers for that contact. Now that I see it, I would like to make it a "Work(2): 4" for the resulting contact ("after" column), i.e. to have it like this:

When creating an appointment in the calendar, the list of reminder times are all 1 day before or less. For myself and others I know who use this feature, 1 week advance reminder is a common time. I know it can be input manually but since it is a commonly used choice, it would be very helpful to already have it in the list.

Thank you for this great app and your consideration of this feature request.

(P.S. After discussing with other users, we'd also like to suggest snooze times of longer than just 3 hours. Perhaps for both reminder and snooze times there could be an option whereby the user could enter the exact time that works best for them. Thanks again!)

It's common enough that literally every other person I asked who also uses MyPhoneExplorer agreed they would routinely use a 1 week advance reminder for events. For example, you need to attend a conference in another city. That is an event, not a task. And a 1 week advance reminder is necessary to make travel arrangements and other plans associated with attending the event. Another example, birthdays/anniversaries/etc are also events, not tasks, and many people need more than just a 1 day advance reminder since they need to make advance plans for those events. There are numerous other event examples that myself and others need more than 1 day advance notice. So, if it is not common in your personal use case, that doesn't mean it isn't common for others.

Suggest to add the name of the developer of the app.
(IF possible of course)
Also in Extras > Current List > Open with ... (e.g. Open with Microsoft Excel) and a column with name of deveoper.

Recently in the version, canceling is no longer sufficient to view the details of an appointment and leave. One has confirm that one doesn't want to change anything. Why is that?

Canceling is actually stopping and doing nothing.

With OK it is accepted, although nothing has been changed. Strange. Was different before, howevey.

Solution: Replace the behavior: If nothing has been changed with OK, then ask whether this is wanted or something has been forgotten.

When canceling, simply do not ask at all

Custom notifications for battery state - text dialog or/and sound if battery state is below X%, or above Y%.

If user miss the first notification, show another one later.

These notifications could be for PC or/and smartphone, or adaptive, if it's connected to PC and PC program is running, use PC notifications, if not, use smartphone notifications.

I'd like to use it if the battery is below 20%, or if it's above 80%.

I know I can use additional app, but it's for smartphone only and it's redundant, if I'm using this app, which can see the battery state.

We use MPE for syncing SMS history and calls with external database, so we use MPE's "API" or rather commandline functionality. However it works really unstable. It would be great if I could simply keep the application running in the background letting me periodically request app (via API) if there are new messages. Currently one has to start the app, let it sync and then wait until finished just to parse new messages from files.

Here is a wish:
more fields (3 at least) for separate addresses for individual contacts.
Also the possibility of Customization of those and emails, phone numbers. As it is possible in the Android Contacts. So its more specific than just Work or Home.
Since I ran into this and never realized that this issue exitsts, I put it here as a future wish, suggestion, as the thread states.
Ah, and it is for the Sync Database. So that several phones can the synced with this.

Hi, today I accidentally deleted a very important folder from my phone Sad

which is now gone forever, so I believe that a delete confirmation dialog within the file explorer would be an important feature to have (I noticed seconds later I was deleting the wrong folder but had no way to stop it). Thank you
