I have the opposite problem. I have assigned a load of contact pictures on my phone, and I want them to go back into Outlook. However, as no other fields have changed there is nothing to sync. I tried using the 'force as edited' option in the MPE interface, but this didn't do anything.

Is there something I'm missing? How can I get the contact pictures from my phone transferred into Outlook?

I an using an HTC Desire HD, MPE 1.8.1 and Outlook 2003.

Hmm - you have to make a slight change in the contacts of Outlook (f.e. some dummy chars into contactnote). Then set the sync to "Force phone->Outlook" and then sync

That works. However, I have several hundred contacts and it would be a right pain to go through and do this for all the ones I have set a photo for... and virtually impossible to keep up to date when further photos are added in the future.

It would be great if there were a way of making this happen automatically (i.e. if phone has photo and Outlook doesn't, to recognise that the contact is dirty and in need of synching).
