Hi FJ,
I think I give up
Now I have tried what you said, but it didn’t work. Perhaps I did something wrong? Here is what I did:
1) First I checked for Sport.dll. This file was located in \Windows\System32> and the size was 844 kB. Date and time: 22.02.06 – 15:55.
2) After uninstall, this file was gone.
3) Installed the main program (v.1.6.7). And then the patch (Built Time: 07.05.2008 22:00:29 Built Version: 1.6.7).
4) Then I tried to start MPE and the computer didn’t crash. BUT, MPE didn’t find my phone.
5) I then uninstalled MPE again and installed just 1.6.7. Now MPE couldn’t find my phone. I had to remove my computer from my phone (BlueTooth) and add it again. I also had to turn off/on the BlueTooth on my computer. Then, at last, I could connect to my phone again.
During uninstall I didn’t do anything in the registry. I’m not sure what to remove. I do not wish to loose all my registered calls. I do not know how to backup all calls…?

Hi
First the backup: Go to Start-Run, type %appdata% in the textfield and press OK. A new explorerwindow should open wih a folder called "MyPhoneExplorer" If you copy this folder all the user and profiledata are saved.
I don't think that the new problem has something to do with the bluescreen-problem. Its not rarly that you have to readd your phone in your BT-Software. The interesting thing is: Do you get a bluescreen with the patch now (when the connection works) ?

No, I don't get any bluesreen after the patch has been added.
But after I have installed the patch, I cannot connect to my phone.
I have tried several times, but no luck.
Therefore I had to uninstall MPE and just install 1.6.7.

It gets more and more strange, i created now for you a common setup (the same as the official one) with the diffrence that i used the freshest MyPhoneExplorer.exe (from the beta). You can download it
here. Please try this one, if no success i will recompile the app on my laptop.

I downloaded the latest EXE file.
First I uninstalled 1.6.7. Then I installed your new test-version.
I did get a bluescreen when MPE tried to connect to my phone...
So I had to uninstall again and reinstall 1.6.7.

After searching again i found some things which i missed before. To reduce your traffic i decided to make a new patch for you which contains only the exe:
www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExplorer_Patch.exe
Thanks for testing again

Installed the latest patch, over tha last version (that gave me a blue sreen) and got this error message:
---------------------------
MyPhoneExplorer
---------------------------
Run-time error '372':
Failed to load control 'PhoneBook' from . Your version of may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.

The patch that I installed, was:
Built Time: 11.05.2008 01:46:26

Install v1.6.7 and then the patch

Now it seems to work fine...
Thanks for your help!
After I patched it the first time, when I got this error message (Run-time error '372'), the program disappeard from the "Add/Remove" so I had to install 1.6.7 once again to find it there. Then I uninstalled it.

Thanks for the report.
It was a silly setting, i never thought that this setting ever could raise a bluescreen.
