You can select a message in the list and then click into the textfield on the bottom (where you can read the whole message), then the message is also marked as read.

About the shortcut: I thought about CTRL+R (for "read").

Ctrl R sounds okay to me too!

The list of Hotkeys exists already in the FAQ, i will make CTRL+R for Marking all messages as read

EDIT: CTRL+R is already used for "Reply", i will use CTRL+M

for this, i need to click on the sms then on the textfield. is there a way FJ you can make it that when we click on the sms, it will auto focus onto the textfield - hence removing the "unread" status immediately?
